Product description:
- Ideal for wardrobe installations and display lighting
- Not suitable for waterproof tape due to the silicone casing being too large for the profile.

- Available in a choice of black, white and silver powder coated finishes
- Choice of 0.9, 2 or 3 metre lengths for each colour
- Choose your diffuser with a choice of opal, semi clear, transparent or no diffuser
This mini LED aluminium channel is a great profile for practically any project where intricacy is a must, whether it’s a kitchen, bar or workplace, mounting brackets are sold separately for an easy mounting solution. This profile can also be recessed if required.
This mini aluminium channel is ideal for housing and protecting LED strip lights. It will provide a surface mounted installation under cabinets and furniture pieces while also reducing undesirable secondary refraction from reflecting surfaces. LED profiles in general serve as a heat sink for the installed LED strip light, extending their lifespan and reducing any brightness loss over time.
Each channel selection is available with an opal, semi-clear or transparent diffuser, which helps diffuse the light from each LED in a much more consistent pattern and also reduces glare.
Hints and tips:
Diffusers
Diffusers will affect the brightness and CCT (colour temperature) of an LED tape when housed in a LED channel or profile.
- Transparent Diffuser: 90-95% of the brightness of the installed LED strip light will shine through
- Semi-Clear Diffuser: 70-75% of the brightness of the installed LED strip light will shine through
- Opal Diffuser: 45-50% of the brightness of the installed LED strip light will shine through
As well as the brightness, diffusers will also alter the kelvin temperature of the installed LED strip light by approximately 10%. Opal diffusers will make the kelvin temperature/CCT appear warmer, semi clear diffusers will make the Kelvin Temperature/CCT appear cooler and transparent diffusers will have no effect.
As an example, a 6000K 1000 lumen per metre LED strip light installed inside a metre length of LED channel using an opal diffuser would create a light bar with an overall output of approximately 5600K and 450 to 500 lumens.
Non-spotting finish
To achieve a highly desired non spotting finish, consider using this profile with an LED a COB LED strip light. This is a shallow profile so the more LEDs per metre on your chosen strip light, the less chance there will be of a spotting/dotting effect.
Perfect for indoor use in dry environments.
This profile is made from fully anodized aluminium and is corrosion proof; meaning it’s ideal for using indoors in dry environments.
Due to the mini size of this profile it is unable to house IP rated LED strip lights with a silicone casing. This is because the silicone jacket on IP rated stops the diffuser from being clipped down correctly.
